Literally, at the mouth of his path, the idea seems to be that when he comes to this opening of the way, give him complete instructions on every step to take. Drill him thoroughly on how to perform his duties, how to escape danger, and how to appropriate the blessings of the way. Stamp these lessons on his soul and lead him to practice them until they are part of his life and nature. Bathe him in prayer and instill the fear of God into him and he shall not depart from it.
"Lift Up Your Heads Ye Gates" The first three days of the month. A tithe of the month - the first three days out of the 30 days of the month. A time to fast and spend time in the presence of God and meet to fellowship each day at 6 p.m.
